Good question. If the Christian "God" exists, then He is just as logically responsible for freely choosing to stand there and watch people get killed, d and tortured as He is for freely choosing to stop such atrocities (in the form of so-called miracles). You've pointed out just one of the many logical contradictions in the description of the Christian version of "God" in the Bible. Christians simply do not understand basic logic at all.
