Heathcliff Bad or Good?

Yes, Heathecliff was mistreated in his youth. No, that does not give him the right to destroy every happy life that crosses his path. Sure, one can understand his hatred of the elder brother. But, to try and make the man's SON illiterate and miserable? Yes, I can understand his dislike of the man Kathy married, but,to trick and then abuse his sister ( though she is kind of dumb.) to the point that she runs away even though she'll be looked down upon in her society? Then, trying to ruin Kathy's basically innocent daughter's life by manipulating her into marriage with his own sickly son, just to get her father's house (because he knew he would hate that?). He was mistreated in his youth, but, remember he wasn't the best child out there (nor was Kathy), and that doesn't give someone the excuse to be absolutley horrible to EVERYONE when they're an adult.
