I need a budget for each room of the house/apartment?

What you will spend on those rooms largely depends on how picky you are about how they are decorated. My first apartment was furnished almost completely (minus TV and computer) for less than $500. I bought almost everything second-hand at thrift stores and yard sales. You could easily spend $5,000 on the same items if you want new, high-end items. If you plan on buying your stuff off the internet, you will end up paying far more because of shipping costs, too.
