Major argument with mother from foreign culture?

ten years old is plenty old to stand outside while his siblings and mother shower, the kid is 3 years from being a teenager and 8 years from going to college, he can stand outside for five minutes without getting lost or kidnapped, its plenty old to understand and obey the simple commands "stay here, dont go anywhere else, dont talk to strangers, and if you need help yell." youd think someone from a conservative lifestyle wouldnt have her 10 year old son stare at naked girls.
