What are christening costs? Particularly greek ceremonies?

I too am married to greek man and we are plannning to baptize our 5 month old daughter in the Greek Orthodox church. As I was told, whomever is going to be the godparents ( one of them has to be greek orthodox) they provide the Christening gown and the party favors for the dinner. We are not having a big wedding type Christening for our daughter, just a nice small dinner after for about 35 people although most Greek Christenings that I have attended have been very lavish like weddings with a greek band and such. It is all up to what you both want to do
